Australian whistleblower pleads responsible over Afghan battle crimes leak

London: An Australian whistleblower whose data led to the publicity of battle crimes in Afghanistan has pleaded responsible in courtroom to leaking categorised data, the BBC reported on Friday.

Paperwork supplied by David McBride to nationwide broadcaster ABC led to the airing of “The Afghan Recordsdata,” which alleged that Australia’s Particular Forces had dedicated battle crimes.

An inquiry discovered that 39 Afghans had been unlawfully killed by Australian forces throughout the battle.
